I might point out that a few contrapunti I've seen from the Segovia ms. fit 
very well on the lute. Again, they are in mensural notation and have no 
indication for which instrument. Anyone wishing to explore other sources 
for the chanson intabulations in Spinacino would do well to visit this.

Isaac's Benedictus, for example, was presented for 3 equal lutes in an LS 
publication a few years back. It takes a little bit of work to put these 
together but can be pretty lively stuff.
