At first glance to us Anglophiles, the name Golfo looks to be aimed at golf fanatics (The 'walking made difficult' brigade!) In actual fact it is located on the Golfo di Salerno (Gulf, or Bay of Salerno) This beautiful location, would make a good excuse for a 'combined' Mediterranean holiday.
