Kenneth, There are some short Am preludes in the 1592 Adriaenssen. 3 are more or less in Am although a couple officially end on the 4th and 5th (which can also lead well enough to an A tonic):
Quarti (ends on the dominant and dropping the final high note would give a delicious leading tone) Septemi (ends on the subdom. but, again, could be "customized") Noni (perhaps too many Bb's; ends on the subdom.) It is interesting that for as many pieces as there are in Am in the book, none of the preludes end on Am! Personally, I'll take that to mean we shouldn't be so strict. They are all pretty short and I can copy them into Fronimo if you need them.
