Don't you think this is unnecessarily mean?
Arto has done quite much for the lute community and I would certainly
prefer if we act like civilized middle europeans.

I would like to thank Arto for many interesting discussions, valuable
input and information and hope he will calm down and return to the list.

BTW: I'm sure Arto doesn't want to generalize and tell the US and every
american guilty for the crimes in iraq or elsewhere. That would be naiv.
I rather think "old europe" (that country near to iraq, lybia and cuba)
feels helpless regarding the politics of the Bush administration and
many europeans - like Arto, too - don't know to whom political speach
should be adressed. In Finland (or germany) it's told to be a matter of
american politics but the people feel involved - the attack in Madrid
has proven that it really is an international affair.

But to return into lute world: Is there someone interested in
proof-reading a transcription of Sixt Kargel into french tabulature
(actually I'm copying his german tab at the moment and then use Fronimo
to do the transcription for me - but it's hard not to get lost in long
runs :-)). The results will then be published on my homepage and on
Francescos Fronimo page.

All the best
Thomas

Better to avoid it. For some years I've been suspecting that this notion
referred to what I inferred was Arto's prerogative ('bout a month or so
ago, in Finnish....). RT
