Dear Tom: I agree with you 100%. It is possible for me to post volumes of material on the art of Bonsai to this list, if we are to take the position of some that we all have the right to post what we please. The problem I have with political threads is the fact with a community as diverse and international as this one no matter what you say it is going to offend someone, anger someone, or provoke someone. Why is it necessary for some to do that? If you want to discuss political issue with individuals on this list do it off line, but don't run the risk of making enemies of those who would otherwise be your friends . There are several lists on the net that revel in the kinds of discussions that from time to time tear this little group apart, go there where you will get as good as you give.
