To Bill, Jon et al,

My wife often says that if men had the first child, there would be only
one child per family!

I might suggest that women's brains are numb to pain where new shoes are
involved. Within a couple of weeks they need a new pair because the
last pair did not fit! As for the constant outlay on shoes, - It gets
me right in the wallet!

Oops, flame shields activated!

i happened to hear an old priest being interviewed on
the radio not long ago in which he said that in his
experience, dealing with all kinds of people in all
kinds of situations, women were much better at dealing
with pain and stress because no matter how painful or
stressful the situation there is always a part of
their brain that is actively engaged in the purchase
of a new pair of shoes.
