Hi Robert,
there are some manuscripts from the abbey of Gruessau, that include more
or less works by Weiss (old numbers: W2002 - now Wroclaw, 2003/2004/2005
/(2006)/2008/2009/2010).
The pieces sometimes have variants from other versions, but doesnt seem
to be less authentic than the versions from London or Dresden.
Possibly there is a connection of Weiss to the family Schaffgottsch,
that seem to have something to do with these mss.
The manuscript that Richard Civiol has transcribed is one of these
mss: W2005.

In fact in my eyes it is very difficult to speak of "the Dresden ms",
because it is a collection of different copies.
Some are autographs, but the other suonatas are of very different
quality, some of the writers have made quite many mistakes.

London seems to be a collection that has been established consequently
over many years - under the eyes of the composer.

Best
Markus
