Hi Everybody, and New Year's Greetings to all.

I coincidentally just came to listen to to the 2:nd movement of some Dvorcak
symphony which went:

                  1 2
                  - -
                 | |
  1.2 0 1.2 0 1.2 1.2 | 1 1.2 |

and somehow suddenly felt, how this simple but strong melody was contrasting
with the orgasmic, life-acknowledging possitive-attitude fireworks display
taking place outside at the same time.

In a strange way, the melody almost sounded lutenistic, and seemed to embody
a kind of sad mood induced by the recent tsunami catastrophe.

How to be happy, when so many life-candles have been blown out?

New-agers would probably ask: "Is mother Gaia trying to tell us something?"

And others: "How is it possible to fathom and empathy with such a great
loss, at least 50 times that of 9/11?"
