Ok, this is sort of a plea for help. I really need to relocate to a warmer and sunnier place in the next few months (seasonal affective disorder). I want to relocate where there is a good music community, especially for early music. So, I've been thinking/dreaming about two places: Santa Fe, New Mexico and north of San Francisco. I'm currently living in Vermont. I really can't afford the California route, but it's nice to dream and maybe I'll sleep in a winery somewhere!
So, any thoughts on being a tenor and lute player in either of those areas is much appreciated. I think San Francisco has much more going on, but Santa Fe seems a bit more affordable and very nice.
