Daniel--
I've been using a piece of wooden swab stick (I guess a match stick
would do) shaved down with a pocket knife until it's just the right height.
I fasten it flat side down with a tiny piece of Scotch double-sided tape. I
get a little movement of the tastino, but not much; the tape itself seems
to stay on pretty well. I have also tried some kind of double-sided carpet
tape, which didn't work well (perhaps because it was old). If your tape
isn't working, maybe you just need a fresh piece?
Someone suggested gluing the tastino on, noting that it could easily
be popped off as needed for fret changes, but I'm happy with the Scotch
Tape.
Regards,
Leonard Williams
