Dear David,

P.S. I failed to send this. I see Stewart isback, sothis duplicates what he
wriotes. The RCM is catalogued.

You're in luck. The Harvester Microfilm Collection comes with printed (paper)
indexes to the various sections. Also the Paston manuscripts in the British
Library are inventoried in Hughes-Hughes catalogue-catalogue of music
manuscripts in the British Museum For Royal College of Music, look in the
catalogue of the Sacred Harmonic Society, and and for the manuscript now in the
Bodleian, take a look in Fellowes' catalogue of manuscripts at St.Michaels'
College. So they are all covered. (I'm not certain how high in the Additional
numbers Hughes-Hughes gets.)

Those Paston manuscripts really get around, don't they. He compiled a huge
collection, and some Pasgton manuscripts are over here. It is possible that
the catalogues have missed Victoria. Stewart knows much more about these
sources than anyone. He must be away. Ron sent this interesting URL. Now I
know what Stewart looks like.

So we can look for Paston Present.<g>

Subject: Paston Lute Books Content list?

Dear Arthur, and others listening in that might help (Stewart, are you out
  there?)

I'll go the library later this week to see if they have the microfilm. In
the mean-time, is there a list of the content or something similarly helpful
of the Paston books? They seems like many pages to browse.

  David
