Dear David (also I cc this to the list)

Interesting info! And also I vould be very pleased to have a copy of the
continuo version (why not also tab). And it is not so important to
clean the score; when you play continuo you get used to messy scores...

I think the piece could be very much liked by the audience when I
perform with a soprano. And (shudder!) I play with nylguts... ;-)

Another question: The boss of our department asked me to make some music
in the Christmas Coffee Meeting of the Department with a very good (and
good looking!) soprano - we have performed there already a couple of
times earlier, too. His special wish was to hear the Christmas song
"Walking in tha air" - actually he knows the version of the Finnish
heavy band Nightwish...

I tried to find a free version of the score of that piece in the net,
but could not find any. Does anyone here happen to have it? Nearly any
form of score could do, piano partitur, just melody and guitar
chords... Anyway I'll make my own continuo version more or less in the
spirit of early baroque... Some modal harmonies sometimes suit well
also to the music of later times.

Arto

PS In one gig we performed some Simon&Garfunkel. Worked well when I
played the theorbo arpeggio pattern on the archlute! The texture was
much as in the original.
