Last week I left you all with my g'-string woes and a 0.40mm Kathedrale on my archlute that had seriously started fraying in the second movement of the Bach cantata. I'm happy to say I could reuse the string (it was still long enough) and it has performed flawlessly in three more Trauerodes and a live radio performance this weekend. Perhaps it may even last me the concerts in the coming week.
Does anybody have experience with using Barocco top strings on their lutes? (Bowed) string players tell me they are wonderfull, and non rectified/polished/ground! So a stronger string, but sometimes false. Very authentic, in other words. ;-) David ***************************************** David van Ooijen Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Http://home.planet.nl/~d.v.ooijen/ ***************************************** To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
