A rather inauspicious start - sorry about the random blank e-mail. I'll try
again....

********

Hello everyone,

Long time listener, first time caller (as the phrase goes). My name is
Peter and I am a student of Jakob Lindberg here in sunny old England.

Does anyone have an arrangement for solo lute of Henry VIII's madrigal
"Pastime with good company"? I was listening to Paul O'Dette's CD "The
Royal Lewters" the other day (track 1, with plenty of divisions) and it
struck me as being a rather fun piece to do tout seul. I cannot hope to
match Paul "The Fastest Lute in the West" O'Dette in virtuosic velocity, but
I'd like to have a stab at it. I've got a copy of the madrigal itself and
an arrangement of it as a lute-song that Sarge Gerbode has done, so if the
worst comes to the worst, I can always arrange it myself, but if someone has
already done the leg-work for me, so much the better.

Best wishes,

Peter
