Hi Thomas,
I am actually the author of that piece. Quite a challenge, and a bit
long for an encore... However do feel free to adapt, cut, modify,
truncate, simplify, ornament, mangle, etc. at your leisure: I am sure
there is more than one or two awkward passages.

I could not find the spot you mention, so here are updated copies in
MIDI and pdf formats:
*No lute no cry, for archlute:*

http://cbsr26.ucr.edu/wlkfiles/Publications/nolutenocry.pdf

May I also recommend:
*Gigue grave for baroque lute:

http://cbsr26.ucr.edu/wlkfiles/Publications/giguegrave.pdf

And (somewhat easier than the above pieces):
*La Grincheuse: (three piece suit[e] for archlute)

http://cbsr26.ucr.edu/wlkfiles/Publications/Nouvelle_grincheuse_2.mid

Congratulations for being brave, Thomas! :)
Alain
