Dear Roman, what do you mean with the English term "pop"? If you mean "traditional", Marco Beasley has certainly cultivated interests in early music and "pop" (traditional) songs.
In Italian "pop" it is not translated and it is not equivalent to traditional. Phil Collins is a pop singer, Pino di Vittorio is a traditional singer. So you are right to define Marco as a traditional and early music singer (the CD "La tarantella" it's a very fine example of Marco singing tarantellas both from Kircher and traditional).
