Exactly my opinion. The sound is different but I wouldn't think it would
lack anything. Rather you can archieve different colours. 

It's rather a matter of hearing habits.

Oh, I don't know...I think the Britten Nocturnal works
ok on an ERG.  It's a very multi-faceted and intense
piece:  just the qualities that the ERG excels at!  It
might sound like Julian Bream Lite at first, but that impression
passes...

I find that my ERG works fine on Villa Lobos, Barrios,
Lauros etc.  The sound is lighter, but certainly not
any less musical.
