A little history - Paul Simon took Martin Carthy's arrangement of S.F. (which Martin had kindly (and rather naively, I guess) written out for him one evening at dinner) and copyrighted it out from under him. Fortunately for Martin he had recorded it on his Landfall LP, which had come out about a year before S&G's recording, so eventually Martin won the case. The upshot is, when someone says "Paul Simon's arrangement" of S.F., as on this site, it should read, "Martin Carthy's arrangement."
