Once I carried my 10 course lute in a bus. A couple of rows behind there 
was a group of female teenagers. One of them explained in Finnish to the 
others: No, no, this cannot be a "kontrabasso" (double bass in English), 
it must be a "kontratenori" (counter tenor in English). Quite clever, I 
had to admit to myself.  :)
