That's why we keep this discussion to this list. If we want to get better at what we do, playing lute, it's good to discuss our own and other people's playing. Sting's cd is provocative enough to set us thinking. I started listening with positive anticipation, but disliked it right away. After reading all of your comments listened again, liked some of it a lot better and could put my finger on what I really don't like. So it's been a learning experience for me. Thank you all, 0.00000001-% of the world's population, for helping me make up my mind. I hope it will reflect positive on my playing in some way.
