Absolutely true, but I doubt that Sting even knew that there were  
early-music singers who fall into yet another category other than  
operatic.

I think that word "normal" is at the heart of all this discussion of  
early-music singing.  There seem to be many differing ideas on what  
"normal" means in this context.
