If you would read what I wrote, then you would notice that I said "in the end we have no proof". Even if Hoppy's beat is all Hoppy, doesn't make a lot of differance to my view of renaissance music. Maybe he is at our concert in "Basler Lauten Abende" series next year, i can ask him what he thinks about the renaissance groove. Mark
