You are perceiving some kind of blanket generalization where I had intended 
none.  I wouldn't dare to "pin down" Staufer/Stauffer and the Viennese camp 
to 60 cm.  That's why I originally had written "often" and elaborated that 
they commonly were more much larger later.  However, as I did state, those 
that did happen to clock around 60-61 cm feel very different to me than 
Panormo's pieces that happened to be around 63-64 cm or later Viennese 
work, even that to come out of the Stauffer shop, like Scherzer.

Of course, Brigette's collection is very interesting and much more diverse 
than simply 19th-c. Viennese guitars.  She is an occasional on the 
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.  I'm particularly enamored of her very early Lambert.
