Actually, the Apple Music vs Apple Computer case is about trademark not copyright. Apple Music owns the apple trademark for use in a music business... so they could not sue NYC which is using the apple, but is not in the music business. The question is whether Apple Computer is in the music business. It seems obvious to me that they are, but so far the courts disagree.
