Sorry about the premature send earlier. I just wanted to remark that I haven't been on the LSA Board of Directors for a while now. As most of you know, I was hounded off the Board after I made a remark during an overseas concert that "We're ashamed that the president of the LSA is from Texas." It got ugly after that, what with the lute community being as reactionary as it is: CD burnings, snubbings at major awards ceremonies, hate letters telling me to "shut up and intabulate." I'm particularly miffed that Sting said not a word in my defense. But I'm ready to make nice.
