Greetings all, It seems that I generated some interest with my recent post about my transcription of 'Mood for a Day' from guitar to 6 course Lute. My thanks to those who have commented on it and given me their much valued advice. So..i thought I'd ask a question, Sting's pretentious album aside, what are the general thoughts on contemporary music being transcribed and brought into the Lute arena? By contemporary I mean more recent classical pieces, not music by Bon Jovi, Led Zep, U2, Take That ( errr the thought ) etc. Mind you if someone could up with a 'light' version of 'Stairway to Heaven' they could be on a winner.sorry I thought of it first, my idea, run away LOL.. I will deny all accusations of blasphemy and heresy as usual. :-) Neil
