Can anyone recommend a lute maker in the central Midwest (Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana) who is accustomed to making minor repairs? I have a 6-course lute with a lose bar, and am looking for a reputable maker who can make the repair. I have had Andrei Perkhounkov (Iowa City) make repairs in the past, but I have lost track of his contact details and do not even know if he is in the business any more.
