For some unknown reason Seaguar is hard to find in the NYC area (most carbon sold here is usually way too thick), and I was advised to look in shops that specialize in freshwater gear, rare here. One day I went deep into the boonies of New Jersey on a film job, and there was a fishing shop across the street from the shooting location, with a fine selection of Seaguar spools in every gauge!
