This is a very interesting story. Many of us know Dan Larson, a lute
builder who resides in Duluth, Minnesota, and has since 1983, when he moved
to Duluth, to set up his business in Duluth. He also came to Duluth so
Bobbye, his wife, could study the lute at the College of St. Scholastica.

There is a fascinating radio program about how Bobbye met Dan, fell in
love, and also fell in love with the lute. The story is done on a
nationally syndicated radio show, entitled, "The Story", of which the host
is Dick Gordon. The show is 1 hour long, but the segment with Bobbye and
Dan is only about 10 minutes. To listen, please go to this link:

Then, on the left, click onto "recent programs".

Then, on the right, you will see a calendar. Click onto June 27. Then,
click on the audio file, entitled, "Remembering the Chief". Then, click on
"listen here" It takes a while to download the program, but then start
listening, and fast forward to about 38 minutes, and you can hear the
segment. Dowland's Lachrimae is a part of the program.

The production is very professionally done, and well worth listening,
especially for lutenists. Enjoy!
