Dear Ariel and all, At the "Sweelinck Conservatorium" (now called "Conservatorium van Amsterdam") were I studied the lute, we had a very interesting course given by by a great expert on basso continuo theory and practice called Therese de Goede. She is one of the leading scholars on the research of XVII and XVIII century treatises on basso continuo. At the beginning of the fist year she have us a compendium of the basic rules for playing basso continuo in the first half of the XVII century. It is a very valuable resource taken from the Bianciardi, Agazzari, Banchieri and Praetorius treatises on basso continuo. I knew I had it somewhere in my (messy) collection of old papers from my conservatory studies and, after browsing through hundreds of papers I was finally able to locate it. I have scanned it and published temporally on my website for anyone interested to download and print. This is the link:
