Dear Lutenists:
I have just launched 11 Ebooks of poetry, 8 of which have original early
or Folk music that needs to be recorded. In an effort to raise financing for
the recording projects I have put them on my Web site,
www.tympanilanerecords.com on the Shopping Page. Also, there is a new
Newsletter offering. I have just finished writing "Sleep quiet hearts . . . "
inspired by the paintings and life of Gustav Klimt and the movie by the same
name. I am joyously awaiting the arrival of a Bass Renaissance Lute by Luciano
Faria and like all great gifts, great art cannot be rushed. I have guitar
chording written to approximately 200 songs and look forward to trying my hand
at writing Lute music to the Early Music pieces. Montreal is quiet magic.
