You have it now. I use it on my 8 course Frei, built in 2002 by Dan Larson. He originally thought of this for an idea, and it works brilliantly well. I mostly use this lute strung entirely in gut, and it is a very nice sounding instrument, and the action at the nut is fabulous. The gut strings do slide quite easily, and they never "stick" when making a fine tuning adjustment. It is perhaps the nicest nut I have had, in terms of stability, not sticking, and being well polished, I do not recall breaking a gut string at the nut area.
