Hi folks, I'm looking for a short (2-3 min) solo piece to perform on 11c Baroque lute as part of our spring Musica Antigua de Toledo concert in April that fits with the theme of "dawn". We are interpreting this rather broadly - it can be dawn of an age, so early Baroque composers would work, or pieces that refer to "dawn" or "morning". Lute songs are a possibility, and I haven't ruled out renaissance lute pieces in this theme as well (on a 7 c renaissance instrument). If you have the tabs (preferably French but I will struggle with Italian if necessary) that would be a plus! As a newbie to the Baroque lute (I have had mine less than a year) it would need to be something not too challenging!
