It usually shows up, when making a PDF from a text file via the Adobe printer "printer". Its not in the document, which is clean text. Perhaps there is a setting I have to change somewhere in the setup of that PDF printer?

This is normally not a setting within the acrobat software. I think the header comes from the application you are printing from...
