That's a bit condescending, don't you think? Jim and I have known each other
for quite a few years and have never had an argument. We're not having one now
either. We get along just fine, thank you very much.

If you read my comments you'd see that I only said this wasn't the forum for
political discussions, not that we "can't talk of politics" to quote you. This
point directly references the earlier discussion that those who report news
often don't report the facts. To address my response, I added the caveat that I
couldn't let certain remarks go unanswered. I was merely making a counterpoint
to Jim's point. Jim singled out "unschooled right-wing loudmouths who spew
half-truths and worse" while I simply countered with my own examples. It isn't
disingenuous at all. Simply point and counterpoint. That's what makes up a
debate after all.

Now that comment is disingenuous as it's a cheap shot that was wholly
unnecessary to the making of your point. And I defy you to come up with one
honest, factual example of Rush Limbaugh actually lying versus him merely
presenting an informed opinion that differs from yours. If you're going to
attempt to take the moral high ground you'd best have something better than
tropes to counter with.

And on a side note of netiquette, I only sent my emails to the list, not
everyone involved in the discussion. No one wants to receive multiple copies of
the same email. Please trim the addresses down to one. Thank you.

Regards,
Craig
