During our lute weekend with Richard Stone, we had a discussion of  
the harmonies that Weiss used and dissected some movements from a  
continuo perspective. This made me reconsider the Weiss d minor  
prelude that ends with the "asterisk". It has additional material at  
the bottom of the MSS that is supposed to go before the final  
cadence, but what is written is incomplete and doesn't return to the  
cadence. I had written a short musical segment to bridge the gap, but  
working with Richard I have now extended the bridge to recapitulate  
some of the earlier chord progressions. For your consideration:
