David - a beautiful performance with great poise and stillness - a
characteristic shared by your group's sublime Bach recording which I
downloaded from Magnatune. Thoughroughly recommended.

Damian - the whole suite fits relatively easily onto a baroque lute. If you
go to http://www.songoftherose.co.uk/ and click on Baroque Lute you can hear
my not so poised performance of the whole suite and download the score in
French tab from the Commentary link. I transposed it into Gm, which I think
is closer in spirit to Dm than is Am. You would think a suite in Dm would
sit happily on a Dm-tuned lute, but not so. The tessitura is either too low
or too high, depending on which octave you choose, so a change of key is
helpful.

David - Please record the whole suite when you get time. I'd love to hear
your performance. And isn't it about time you started recording solo discs?!
Stop being so lazy! ;-)
