Dear fellow lutenists,
It is with great sadness that I share the news that Goldberg magazine has gone bankrupt. All our operations - including the upcoming December issue (which as some on the list knew was to have contained an article I wrote on the French baroque lute) - have currently been suspended due to lack of funds. This dramatic development has in part been precipitated by the current financial crisis. It is hoped that the magazine can resume its work in the coming months, but it seems that this could only happen if sponsors for the publication can be found. Troubling times.
