This is a rather base American mandolin from about the dates offered by Wayne, probably 1890s at the very earliest or as late as later 1910s. This is one of those that was churned out for catalogue sales or retailers' house brands without ever acknowledging the actual maker. Its loss is not such a great lost to the greater whole of mandolin. Such things remain abundant.
