Well,

I have a baroque guitar from him, and since he finished the instrument
(some years ago) I have been asking him to put a pin on the guitar in
order to allow me to play on a standing position. He came to Rio
several times and allways forget to bring the pin...

I think it is curious that lutenists are still ordering instruments
   from this guy.

   Good luck to you all!

     Hi to all,
I had a similar problem with Luciano Faria.
I ordered a renaissance lute and have paid 30% deposit and after
over 1 year (the time established for completing the instrument) and
many mails I have come to know from another member of the list that
my lute was sold because he had lost my email.
When i wrote to him again he proposed to me to have a new instrument
or my deposit back...i chose for this latter option but till now I
have not seen my money back....
It's not a good behaviour from lutemaker....
Im' trying right now to send an email for sending me back my
     deposit...
I hope you will be luckier than me...
     Regards
     Luciano Faria
