Subject: [LUTE-BUILDER] lute collections in museum
  Date: Tue, 10 Feb 2009 20:44:29 +0100

  Hello everybody,

I'm making researches on some little-know lute makers, and their
  surviving
instruments. I was trying to find out what are exactly the
  collections of lutes
in museums such as Vienna KHM, Nuremberg Museum, Leipzig, Bruxelles
  and others.
I was very surprised to discover that no catalogue or lists are
  available on
their websites, they even sometimes seem to ignore that they have
  musical
  instruments in their museums!!

any ideas how and where to get such informations ?

  Best regards

  Julien Stryjak
