To those of you who are using silk- loaded, dyed, etc. Could you send me some sources for your materials (silk- raw, in strings or thread, ribbon even?), and info about loading/dying and other processes? This would be deeply appreciated. The OT part is this is for archery applications, albeit "Early" archery; late Roman, Hun, Mongol periods- not just bowstrings, but for wrapping bows for strength and protection. On this front some of us are where lutherie was 30 or so years ago. Much thanks, Dan --
