Hi lutenists, as far as I know/guess, there has been some research on the arrangements/transcriptions of the pieces by Lully to theorbo solo.
As some of you may know, I have found some of the models in the operas/ballets by Lully - that were arranged by the anon. or de Visee to theorbo in the mss. of the time, see http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/wikla/mus/Tiorba/deVisee/ So, any hints or suggestions to academic rasearch on the subject?
