Folks, Here's another tuning application for the iPhone and iPod Touch from Peterson Strobe Tuners, the iStrobeSoft: http://www.petersontuners.com/index.cfm?category=150&page=1. I haven't tried it so I can't vouch for its performance, but I have used their V-SAM virtual strobe tuner and I really like it. What the Cleartune has that the iStrobeSoft does not have are preset temperaments. Also, Peterson offers a special jack adapter for 1/4" plugs for the iPhone and iPod Touch that should work for the Cleartune applet: http://www.petersontuners.com/index.cfm?category=135&action=itemView&it emID=39.
