There is an excellent book of translations with a useful introduction:
Songs of Holy mary of Alfonso X, The Wise, by Kathleen Kulp-Hill. Published by Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Volume 173. I got mine from Amazon... The best - and cheapest - performance scores can be found at [1]www.gaita.co.uk - I use these scores. Rob 2009/7/7 andrei and <[2]andrei_vana...@hotmail.com> Hi to all, I know that little is known about the Cantigas de Santa Maria. As far as I could see there aren't much sources even on the internet. I was able of course to find some info in websites like wikipedia, [3]medieval.org and [4]csm.mml.ox.ac.uk. Does someone happen to know any good article, book or even a website so I can study and get to know more about this beautiful music? Or even about texts in medieval music! Texts, at least for me, will be much easier in english, portuguese, spanish, swedish, italian or dutch. I previous thank you Andrei Vanazzi __________________________________________________________________ Instale o novo Internet Explorer 8 otimizado para o MSN. [1]Download aqui -- References 1.
