      You can fairly easily modify the circuitry of the H2 for different
      routings. However, you may also then have what is called
      affectionately a "brick".
      The most useful mod is to convert it into a four track recorder with
      four inputs.
      As good as the H2 is, think of it as a starting point--a pair of
      decent mics is going to sound better.
      But for the price, you can't beat the H2.
