Dear lutenists,

I played an anonymous Lully theorbo arr to the tubes, called "Air de
GalateƩ". The piece quite probably comes from Lully's "Acis et Galatee",
1686. The arr is from French ms. Res-1106, Bibl. National, Paris.

I could find a page dedicated to a recording of the piece with short audio
clips of the opera, and this arr quite probably is made of the "Premier
air" of the 1st act of this opera. But I am not sure.

So if anyone has the score, facsimile or modern, could you check it?

My "tubes" are in

And the theorbo tab original can be found at the end of my page

or if you wish a direct link:

Thanks in advance,

Arto

PS I have taken Lully as my second Home God sitting side by side with
Monteverdi! ;-)
