As far as I know there is no index of this repertoire - at least I have not
found any...

I suppose some researchers have considered these arrangements of lesser
value than all the Courantes and Preludes there are... ;-)

Anyhow, I think the importance of Lully to his contemporaries was so big
and also the quality of his music so good that we really should be more
interested also in those lute arrangements! And I am... ;-)

My tiny "2009 project" was to try to find out something about French
theorbo music of 17th century. In my page
  http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/wikla/mus/Tiorba/deVisee/
I have some music of Lully transcribed to therbo (pdf) and also the Lully
models (pdf) (and some "tube" performances of varying quality, too).

One problem with Lully is his huge output! But you can find lots of his
stuff in the Net, if you try... ;-)
To find out the models of the arrs can be quite time consuming, though...

Back to 11-courser: There seems to be quite a lot of arrs of his pieces
there! Just scattered here and there...

One good example is ms. Milleran, where there are several arrs of Lully by
"mr Mouton". So there _are_ name associations. Those Milleran arrs really
are quite simple compared to Mouton's other stuff. But who knows?
I have also "tubed" one of those, "Menuet de L'Opera de Proserpine,
transposee par Mr Mouton", in my page
  http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/wikla/mus/11_courseLute/
Or direct links http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/wikla/mus/11_courseLute/ and
http://www.vimeo.com/8933482

Anyhow I have seen in many 11-course mss. links to Lully. So there is work
to be done!

One achievement of hard work - that really will help - is done by Peter
Steur in his "Manuscripts for Baroque Lute - A Catalogue". He also here and
there gives the "Lully numbers" of those transcriptions. See his pages in
  http://mss.slweiss.de/
It really is not only about Weiss! (Thanks for your valuable work, Peter,
if you happen to read this!)

So: If you find an index, or even some more analysis, I am highly
interested!

All the best,

Arto
