To all who may have downloaded the table of contents for Shakespeare's Lute Book: We accidentally posted an earlier version of the table of contents on our web page. The corrected version is now up. http://editions.mignarda.com/ The only difference is that we replaced the last song in the book (Appendix A5) with our new setting of 'Come away death' from Twelfth Night. As part of a larger project of setting tuneless texts to historical music, we found the song text fit well with a galliard tune from the famous Folger lute ms. For anyone interested in hearing how well this works, we have a single mp3 of the song which is available on CD Baby, Amazon and possibly even I-tunes by now. The CD Baby link is here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mignarda6 Best wishes, Donna & Ron > Date: Fri, 3 Sep 2010 19:54:06 +0000 > To: [email protected] > From: [email protected] > Subject: [LUTE] Shakespeare's Lute Book > > To those who may not have been on our announcement list, Shakespeare's > Lute Book is now available from Mignarda Editions.
