Hi All,
Some time ago I promised some pictures of the Maler lute which I used
for the October and November pieces of the month
(www.luteshop.co.uk/month/archive/1010.htm and
www.luteshop.co.uk/month/archive/1011.htm), also featured on the
Francesco da Milano page, Ness numbers 22, 31, and 32
(www.luteshop.co.uk/fdam/fdam.html).
I can't attach the photos here but they can be found in no.7 of the
6-course section of my catalogue at www.luteshop.co.uk/6c/6c.htm
One pleasant feature of this lute (which was strung entirely in gut) was
the good level of sustain in the bass.
Best wishes,
Martin
